Overview

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply highly specialised knowledge and skills in the field of organisational learning and capability development. Individuals in these roles generate and evaluate complex ideas. They also initiate, design and execute major learning and development functions within an organisation. Typically, they would have full responsibility and accountability for the personal output and work of others.

This qualification may apply to leaders and managers in an organisation where learning is used to build organisational capability. The job roles that relate to this qualification may also include RTO Manager and RTO Director.

    1. Aged 18 or above at the time of course commencement
    2. Completion of year 12 or equivalencies accepted by Tr4inright
    3. English Proficiency: Minimum English level of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent, OR PTE score of 42, OR successful completion of Upper Intermediate level of General English at an approved ELICOS Provider OR B2 level achieved in the Oxford Placement Test, or other equivalencies accepted by Tr4inright unless you originate from a country that is exempt from meeting the English Language Requirements. 
    4. Completion of Pre-Training Review
    5. Completion of an LLN Test
    6. Computer proficiency (to use digital technologies to access information via internet and use of MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Power Point)
    7. Students are required to:
      – Bring their own computer/tablet
      – Ensure availability to attend classes as per requirements of TR and Student Visa
    8. Visa and Study rights in Australia: You must hold a relevant visa that allows you to study in Australia when you commence studies.

Note 1: English test results older than 2 years are not acceptable unless you have recently completed 1 year of study in Australia.

Note 3: Access to internet connection is provided to students in Tr4inright’s campus.

In addition to all the software, equipment and personal protective gear and uniforms (if applicable) you need for your course, you are required to have access to the following for the duration of your studies:
  • PC or laptop 
  • Reliable internet connection 
  • Browser application (e.g. Google Chrome)
  • Pair of headphones
  • Access to Microsoft Office suite, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Access to Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Flash Player.  

All students will have access to WIFI at Tr4in Right’s campus, however access to computers is limited and on a first-in- first-served basis. 

Assessment may be both formative and summative and may include a combination of projects, assignments, written assessments, role plays, case studies and activities. 

On successful completion of this qualification, students may undertake a range of other Advanced Diploma level qualifications within the BSB Business Services Training Package or other Training Packages or higher education courses. 

Examples of indicative job roles for students on successful completion of the qualification may include:

  • RTO Manager
  • RTO Director
  • Training or Academic Manager

Students may exit from the program at any point and be awarded a Statement of Attainment for any completed unit of competency.
