Entry to this qualification is limited to those who:
Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma qualification in related fields of
study and 3 years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level of leadership and management responsibility and/or complexity in an enterprise.
or
Have completed a Bachelor degree in related fields of study and 2 years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level of leadership and management responsibility and/or complexity in an enterprise.
or
Have five years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level of leadership and management responsibility and/or complexity in an enterprise.

Overview

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply advanced knowledge and skills in a range of strategic leadership and management roles. Individuals at this level make high level autonomous decisions and use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions in varied contexts. They have full responsibility and accountability for their own outputs and for the work or function of others. 

Graduates use cognitive and creative skills to review, critically analyse, consolidate and synthesise knowledge in order to generate ideas and provide solutions to complex problems, and communication skills to demonstrate their understanding of theoretical concepts and transfer knowledge and ideas to others. 

The qualification is designed for experienced managers and senior leaders who are responsible for setting direction, leading strategic change and building organisational capability. 

Entry to this qualification is limited to those who:
Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma qualification in related fields of study and 3 years equivalent fulltime relevant workplace experience at a significant level of leadership and management responsibility and/or complexity in an enterprise.
or
Have completed a Bachelor degree in related fields of study and 2 years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level of leadership and management responsibility and/or complexity in an enterprise.
or
Have five years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level of leadership and management responsibility and/or complexity in an enterprise.
Applicants must provide evidence that they meet one of the pathways above. See the BSB80320 Prerequisite and Enrolment Guide for the documents required.

1. Applicants must be aged 18 years or above at the time of course commencement.
2. Applicants must have completed Year 12 or equivalency accepted by TR4INRIGHT.
3. Applicants must meet the English Proficiency requirements:
• Minimum IELTS 5.5 or equivalent
• PTE score of 42
• Successful completion of Upper Intermediate General English
• B2 level Oxford Placement Test
• Or exemptions per country of origin
4. Applicants must complete a Pre-Training Review.
5. Applicants must complete an LLN Test.
6. Applicants must be computer proficient, including internet access and MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Power Point).

7. Students are required to bring their own computer or tablet, and to ensure they are available to attend in
accordance with TR4INRIGHT and Student Visa requirements.
8. Applicants must hold a valid Australian study visa.

Note 1: English test results older than 2 years are not acceptable, unless the applicant has recently completed study in Australia (within 1 year).
Note 2: Reefer to the Department of Home Affairs website for details of English language exemptions.
Note 3: Internet access is provided at campus. Computer access is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Students are required to have access to the following:

• Reliable internet connection
• Browser application (for example Google Chrome)

• Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Flash Player
Campus WIFI is available. Computer access is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Assessment may be both formative and summative and may include a combination of projects, assignments, written assessments, role plays, case studies and activities.

On successful completion of this qualification, graduates may seek to enter higher education, including a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Entry into any higher education course is at the discretion of the receiving institution and is subject to that institution’s own admission requirements.

Students may exit from the program at any point and be awarded a Statement of Attainment for any completed unit of competency

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfer (CT) are available to help fill the gaps in your knowledge and to upgrade your qualification(s) faster.

Recommended addition: RPL and Credit Transfer apply to units of competency after an applicant has been admitted. They cannot be used to meet the entry requirements in section 5.
